Signing in

Whereabouts uses one-time codes. Enter your phone number (or email) and we'll text or email you a 6-digit code to sign in — no password to remember. If a code doesn't arrive, wait a moment and tap to resend, or switch between phone and email.

Managing your account

• Edit your profile — Settings (top-right) → edit your name, photo, interests, and links.
• Delete your account — Settings → “delete account.” Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days; sign in again within that window to restore it.
• Notifications — manage text and push notifications in Settings. You can also reply STOP to any text to opt out.

Reporting & blocking

To report an event, open it and tap “report this event.” To report or block someone, open their profile and tap the ⋯ menu. Blocking hides their events and profile from you. We review every report.

Events & payments

Every event on Whereabouts is currently free — there are no in-app purchases. Some around-town events link out to an organizer's site to register or buy tickets.
